Shin Min-A Kim Sun-Ho Lee Sang-Yi
“Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” is a romantic comedy-drama that tells the story of Yoon Hye-jin (played by Shin Min-a), a dentist who moves from Seoul to the seaside village of Gongjin to start a new life. There, she meets Hong Doo-shik (played by Kim Seon-ho), a jack-of-all-trades who runs a small errand service and is known for his kindness and helpfulness around town.
As Hye-jin tries to adjust to her new life in Gongjin, she finds herself drawn to Doo-shik’s warm personality and his willingness to help others. Despite their different backgrounds and personalities, the two begin to develop a close friendship that eventually turns into a romantic relationship.
Along the way, the show explores the lives and relationships of the other residents of Gongjin, including a group of quirky and lovable characters who become Hye-jin and Doo-shik’s friends and allies. The show also touches on themes of community, family, and the importance of finding happiness and fulfillment in life.
